We've got a winner, folks. Ok, not exactly. But if I was willing.. and I'm not (womp womp) to pay for handmade shoes for my wedding, these would be the ones. Yes, I realize they aren't heels and they aren't super dressy or whatever.. but they are what I think of when I think of wedding shoes. Weird? Whatever. People are always doing crazy shoes now, and it's not you'd see them unless I picked up my dress to show. But that's also why they won't be my wedding shoes, because they can't debut on an evening where they'll be hidden. That's no fun. But aren't they lovely? Ele Handmade has THE cutest shoes.

If I'd been a girl scout, it probably would have just been for the badges, but needless to say, I wasn't. The badges though, the badges are the best part. Each having their own significance, their own design, and the fact that you have earn it, you have to deserve that badge, well.. that makes them pretty great.

And, let's be honest, what's better than a handmade badge? I'm working on a few of my own to be shared later this week. If you were getting a badge, what would it be for?

It feels like a Monday, which.. I guess.. is good since it is a Monday, but don't Mondays know they don't have to live up to their expectations? Or rather, they can exceed them every once in a while? Maybe I shouldn't be talking to the days of the week, but instead myself here. Or the weather, come on rain clouds, give us a break. 

Actually, I don't know about for you, but this past weekends weather was wonderful. Nice and hot, but the breeze coming off the ocean was perfect. If only sunscreen and I got along well, too. Really, maybe I have issues since I seem to be placing all the blame on inanimate objects or days or the weather, but we'll work on that another day.

This weekends weather is looking absolutely amazing and I'm really hoping to make it to the beach. And then on Sunday, I'm really wanting to tackle a fun project so I can share it with you next week. I mentioned yesterday that I've been dying to work on new projects but just can't seem to get started, well, I think I'm just going to get to it this weekend, and I'm excited about the possibilities! I might have just purchased a card from Little Low Studio. Ok, I did. And it's lovely, just like the rest of the cards or prints or hoops or towels or pillows! I really wish I'd also snagged this limited addition hoop, too, but maybe next time!

I'm feeling extra inspired lately, but stuck. I don't know where to start. And I'm sure that the best way to start would be to just start. I mean, just jump in, so what am I waiting for? I was up in the attic this weekend (trying to fix a leaky air conditioning unit) and looked at my sewing machine. I even contemplated bringing it down, so why didn't I?
